SAPIENS

I always unearth my decisions by looking back at my past. It enables me to observe both pros and cons of my actions. Sometimes it’s hard to think of everything. But this time I saw my past through Prof. Yuval Noah Harari’s incredible work; Sapiens: A brief history of Humankind.

This book was like a time-traveling gadget for me. But I can just take off only in my past. It brought me nearly 13.5 billion years ago when I surveyed the history of humankind from the evolution of archaic human species in the stone age up to the twenty-first century. The blend of History, Geography, Philosophy, Spirituality, and so on has concocted this book exceptionally an interesting read. Prof. Yuval Noah Harari has accommodated detailed facts and information in every component of this chapter.

I am influenced by the way he defined how knowledge, Imagination, and Information have maneuvered our species forward. It unlocked my eyes to what we (humans) have accomplished and I truly wish to be a part of the innovation we are executing in our day-to-day life. Sapiens was a book that provoked my thoughts and made me curious. So I’ll endorse this book to anyone who wishes to understand their past. You may or may not acknowledge some of the terms or sections quoted in the book. But overall it will provide you with a brief idea about us, the Homo Sapiens.
