Reading ‘The Alchemist’ was like a pilgrimage to me. I realized fear of failure is more disastrous than failure itself. If we can conquer this we can turn our dreams into reality. This is so authentic that we all can connect to this.
I adore this book because Paulo Coelho has exemplified the truth of nature through a boy’s quest from Andalusia to Egypt. It boosted me to identify the downfall from the various lens where I saw how Santiago was evolving. It also accelerated my dispositions. I was analyzing how my anxiety overpowers my belief and annihilates my action to accomplish my ambition. This reading journey delivered me with incredible lessons through which one can channel despair into strong action.
In the end, ‘The Alchemist’ showed me that the actual gem is within us but we keep digging for it outside everywhere exactly like a musk deer who is enchanted by its fragrances and roams for miles to discover the source of its beauty. So it is a book which one should read once in a lifetime.
