His Grace on all of us

Still remember those
Good old days
When he
Walked like a shield
Confronting all foes
Fighting for righteousness
With no violence at all
Taught us to stand still
Even when the storm is strong
Think big, be the difference
Is what we learnt from him
He fought through all odds
With peace, patience and passion
It’s not easy
To be the father
Of the entire nation
To protect and progress
To end the fight
Two hundred years old
For him we celebrate
Our walk of freedom
We can talk free
And live free
He taught us non violence
He taught us love
We will always be grateful
For his grace
On all of us.
