This too shall Pass
Time passes
As the brook flows by
Mere things change so rapidly
As days change so frequently
Many raindrops have fallen
So many sunsets have been stolen
Of lost smiles and giggles
Buried are they half feet down
Covered with withered dull flowers
For a long time, now
Golden leaves have been shed
White daisies are plucked no more
the essence of memories embracing the sulky heavy air
For a long time, now
Reminding how terribly lost are those happy times
Now that the pages are full of lamenting stories
Stories of changing seasons
And seasons of changing colors
Time truly passes
As the book flows by
And this too shall pass…..
