My Farewell Note
The ticking clock
And the beating heart
In the most redundant hallucination
Into the world of unknown
Which has my only known
Time sways by
And my heart sheaths in
memories fill in
Into droplets that tickle
Down the bottleneck
Hazy lines I quote
That often I wrote,
Remained incomplete though
Fader than the fading mist
Just one from my checklist
Brighter than the yellow morning
With wishes so daring
I brew my little story
With smiles and glory
You know the beginning, don’t you?
Isn’t that offending
And now,
what about the ending?
