Mother Earth

Natural resource in plenty

People die of poverty

Material prosperity scanty

Can we buy moon and sky ?

Can we buy rain and wind ?

Shores of seas ?

Gushing waves ?

Earth is sacred.

Mystic deep dark woodlands of jungle village

Sprawling unending green meadows

Cricket, humming birds and creaking insects

Frightening rainy night

Holy cows, sheep‟s and hens

Run out of the shed in the wee hours

To the vast expanse of the sky

Green trees shelter from angry sun

Numbs atmosphere calm and tan

Blood flows and drain

Raven reign; time and again.

Life is earth and earth life is stoic

Scented flowers emit sweet aroma love-exotic

Rocky mountain crests, creeks and terrains in pride

Voice of ancestors guide

Blue clean water of the spring glides to the rivers

Rivers glide in to the sea as givers

Neighbourhood ghosts reflect river memories

Murmuring water of the river worries

Rivers quench thirst

Brings up life and feed first

Rivers are kind and caste

Heavenly voice of great grandfather echoes

Save pure air precious, share life with plants those.

Wind we breathe, heaves our sigh

Bristling meadow-flowers cry.

Life vanish in the mystic wilderness

Memory and shadow dwell afresh;

Clouds drift across the trees

Shores of sea denude forest in glees

We belong to mother earth

Earth does not belong to us

My grandmother voice

I remember

Teach children; Ideals taught

Earth belongs to us a lot.

Earth is the mother mothers.

Ancestors voice echoes in smolders

Destiny is mystic

Wild tigers do acrobatic.

Hills are invaded by man

Eagles and sparrows are blown

Is it the end of living

or

Beginning of new-Civilization

Spider web of life continues….
